On a lot of prescription medication, it labels weight gain as a side effect. How can a prescription drug cause a person to gain weight? Do they slow the metabolism? Cause increased appetite?

I recently started getting migraines- I believe they're acephalgic Migraines. I'm not overly concerned, but I recetly have been trying to watch what I eat, and I've been eating for fruits and veggies and less pasta. Could this change in diet have anything to do with my migraines? Why?

Ok, were going to the doctor sometime this week but today he came home from school (by school i mean this summer tutoring program where it is like a classroom and school but it is not real school) with a headache. I have now concluded it is a migraine because
