My doctor suggested I track the migraines because they are coming more frequently and all of the triggers you mentioned have been ruled out. All the tests I've had done have come back negative.

My doctor has prescribed a triptan drug to try - I haven't had an attack yet (typical). I know I need to take it as soon as a migraine starts, however if it doesn't work, can I follow it up with a dose of either paracetamol or ibuprofen as I would for a normal attack? I know I need to take it as soon as a migraine starts, however if it doesn't work, can I follow it up with a dose of either paracetamol or ibuprofen as I would for a normal attack? Or is it just a case of tough luck, it hasn't worked?
